His favored weaponry is a huge two-handed club (Nature's Clenched Fist) which Heptadd has gave to him as a gift, when it became clear that the Vidav Treaty of Collaboration would be invoked and Perim would stand united against the M'arrillians and their leader Aa'une.Īrctus is a naturally gifted OverWorld Elementalist. Thus he is neither a stranger to icy storms, flaming wrath, rocky tremors or submerged battle. He is perfectly attuned to any element that is invoked near him. In many places he braids his fur and decorates it with beads and decorations of nature. He wears piece-mail armor on chest and legs. He walks on his hind legs and has a thick coat of white fur on his back and arms. He is strong and brave, but despite his somewhat bear-like appearance his movements are all graceful and carefully directed. Burithean Axe is a useful Battlegear to both give him a minor boost and to shorten combat with the Intimidate effect, making it easier to defeat enemies before they can wear him down.Arctus is an OverWorlder who hails from the icy reaches of the Northrange. Kaal's main weakness is his relatively low Energy.

While the ability can be powerful if your Creatures push into enemy territory, simply being an UnderWorld Creature with decent combat stats and 2 Mugic Counters makes him easy to consider for an army spot. Kaal's ability rewards aggression and goes well in burn strategies. Kaal cannot be obtained from Alliances Unraveled packs. Kaal can be obtained as a bonus card packaged in Secrets of the Lost City starter decks. Kaal and Magmon, and possibly the others, are made of Elemental forces, such as those in the Lava Pond. He looks like a giant made of lava and stone, like Magmon, Kreaal and Zapetur. It is assumed that Kiru eventually defeated him and freed the captives. What happened to him and his prisoners are currently unknown. However, Kiru was able to bargain with Kaal who told him that if he were to bring him the Oraclon, he would free all the Overworlders.

When Kaal was told that Vlar had taken some of the crystals he almost killed him and his companions. Within the crystals are Vlaric Shard's, which is why Vlar risks going into Kaal's cave to get them. He would force the captured Overworlders to dig for special crystals. Kaal often raided from Kiru Village and abducted Overworlders to work at what seems like the past Crystal Cave. Kaal is the Underworld Ruler of the past, where him and the fellow residents born out of fiery Elemental forces lived.
